- While we were unable to secure a block of rooms, this hotel comes highly recommended. The Bradford is apartment style rooms (with kitchens) suitable for those with cars who want spacious rooms but don't need 24-7 room service.

Things to Do in Dallas:

The reception site is located at NorthPark Mall, one of the few malls in Texas with restaurants with valet parking (and the first covered shopping mall in America). There are several enjoyable places to see and go to in that part of Dallas. We wanted to share with you the places we enjoy visiting when we are over there.

Shopping
- Central Market -- great for killing time, selecting from the 2,856,484 kinds of fresh fruit available, or getting gourmet gifts for friends back home. Has a Cafe where you can buy a deli-style dinner & microwave it.
- Half Price Books Flagship Location
- The Container Store -- yes, we are kooky enough to think this place is fun
- The Galleria. This is sort of a standard tourist haunt. I don't know anyone who actually shops there!
- Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall & the huge Bass Pro. A bit of a drive from Northpark, but so popular the tour busses go there.
- Southlake Town Square. About 45 minutes from Northpark. Close to Grapevine Mills.

- We feel compelled to point out that there is a Corner Bakery ($) adjoining Maggiano's.
- Freebirds ($) (a College Station cult favorite, and one of Jim's Top Ten Places To Eat Ever)
